Faculty/Staff Policy regarding weather:

The policy, as it appears in the Faculty/Staff Manual, states "During inclement weather conditions, faculty are normally expected to report for work during the same hours the students are expected to be in classes…Faculty may be required to report to work during these days for in-service training or related activities.  Administration and staff are expected to be at work during their normal working hours if at all possible. In other words, the snow schedule or the complete cancellation of classes does not normally alter the expected work schedule for administration and staff."  If the school is open and an employee does not report to work, non-exempt employees will not be paid for the time missed unless they use accrued sick/vacation time.   Salaried employees will be required to use accrued leave.  The complete policy can be viewed by visiting http://manual.sullivan.edu.
